2026 Artisan Market schedule

It's been a long, cold, grey winter here in southeast Michigan. With this week's blissfully warm days, it's been a nice teaser of the spring that's soon to come (once we get past the inevitable Second Winter, which is coming at the end of this week 😩). To celebrate this False Spring, I thought I'd give you a teaser of the market season that's soon to come! I've spent the past few months applying to plenty of craft fairs, artisan markets, and farmer's markets all over southeast and mid Michigan.

Why shop with me in person instead of online? I offer exclusive sales, discounts, and sometimes inventory in person that I don't put up on my online shop! Sometimes it's as simple as a bookmark design that I only make a few of, and sometimes it's bigger items like the hippie headbands that I made for Berkley's Hippie Fest back in 2024. I also often only release seasonal cat loaf color combinations in person. And, of course, I love to see your smiles when you find my booth, and that's just not possible online without getting REALLY weird.

See our beautiful smiling faces? We'll be at all of these events to greet you!

Here is my tentative schedule for this coming outdoor market shopping season:

Keep your eye on this page and on my socials for updates. Right now, everything is tentative except for the Plymouth/Canton Spring Show. Depending on how the season goes, I might even add more events! As it is, I'm a little nervous about this schedule, just because I don't know if I'll be able to keep up with inventory demands. I can only crochet one item at a time, whether it's a quick bookmark, an easy-but-time-consuming loaf cat, or a complicated top for myself (what? I'm always itching for a new handmade top, it's an addiction and I will not get help for it thankyouverymuch). Crocheting, unlike something like artisan soaps or candles, isn't something I can just make a bigger batch of without adding too much time.

That being said, I've been working all winter on building up my inventory so that I can attend these amazing multi-day craft fairs and hopefully not start running out of stock. That's the conundrum with a handmade business, isn't it? Of course I would love to sell out of absolutely everything at the first market of the year - that would be several hundred dollars in just one afternoon! But then I'd be absolutely scrambling to make even more inventory for the next event, and my hands would probably fall off in protest.

Anyway, rambling over - mark your calendars for all of these fantastic artisan markets! Even if I have to back out of any of them, they will still be wonderful events filled with tons of Michigan-based handmade artists and artisans. You'll be sure to find plenty of interesting things to buy at all of them!
